A compact, low-maintenance, tropical-looking houseplant. The baby rubber plant (Peperomia obtusifolia) is a beautiful plant with glossy, round spoon like foliage.  This one has lines patterns that resemble a watermelon. This humidity-loving, pet-friendly plant is typically grown indoors. Despite its common name, this plant isn't related to the rubber plant  (Ficus elastica), but instead is part of the large Peperomia genus and the epithet obtusifolia means "blunt-leaved".

This one in a 4 inch or 6 inch nursery container.

Plant care: 

Light- Indirect light. Keep away from intense light which may burn the leaves. 

Soil- Well-draining

Water- Allow to dry out the top 2 inches between waterings. Do not overwater.
