ZZ plants are a low-maintenance, beautiful plant to keep indoors.  Rugged, hardy plant that is a great fit for beginners.  Beautiful, waxy green leaves above the surface of its potting mix, and large potato-like rhizomes underneath. These rhizomes store water, making the ZZ a hardy, drought-tolerant houseplant that only needs water every few weeks.

Plant care:

Light- Thrives in medium to bright indirect light, but can tolerate low indirect light. Not suited for intense, direct sun. Keep the plant safe from direct sun exposure for prolonged periods especially afternoon, as it can burn the foliage.

Water - Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light. Water the plant when the top one or two inches of the growing medium feels dry to touch. This plant stores moisture in its potato-like, thick rhizomes that make it withstand several weeks without water. This means you don’t need to water it very often.

Soil- Well-draining and great aeration.
